I just came to give you a quick peek on the development of the new update of Heroes Quest.

In the last few weeks I've gotten a little excited to get back to work on the project, along with the development of Blood, Guns & Chips, but today I'm just here to show you a little bit about how the new update is going.

One of the main things I wanted to rework was the graphics, not because I thought they were ugly or anything like that, but because I wanted something a little more detailed, to give that extra unique feel between the two main areas of the game.

In addition to the small graphic update I also introduced a bunch of new mechanics, such as sawblades, falling platforms and stuff. Since the first version of the game posted here was basically a slightly improved version of the original game concept, (that was initially made for a game jam), I didn't exactly had much time or desire to add new game mechanics, since the main focus was on the story.

Also, one last thing that I'm really excited to say is that, yes, the game will have MULTIPLE ENDINGS!! I've been thinking a lot about several endings and I'm really excited to start working on them, so stay tuned because this update will be big compared to the previous game's version.

Well, I've wanted to make this post for a while, but I didn't really know how to start... So let's just go. 

A lot has been happening lately, I'm working on several projects, training a little more in pixelart and I'm also trying to organize my personal life. I've been working on a project for a few months now (pretty much right after I posted Heroes Quest here) and now things are starting to take shape. 

The name of the game is Blood, Guns & Chips, it's an action game totally inspired by Katana Zero and Hotline Miami. The project is still at an early stage, but I hope to keep working on it and finish everything as soon as possible.

I also called in a super awesome musician to help me with the game's soundtrack, as well as some sfx, so FOLLOW HIM ON NEWGROUNDS BECAUSE HE IS SO AMAZING MAN!!!

As for Heroes Quest, I really didn't imagine that this project would get this far (30K views wtf??), I just wanted to thank everyone who played and commented, even if it was to criticize. I will try to take into account all the feedback (positive and negative) to create an update for the game, in a slightly more distant future.
